Class 3b laser technology, which has been around since the 1960's, is the most thoroughly researched class of laser therapy in the world. It has only been over the last few years that the laser therapy market is inundated with information - a lot of which is very misleading to the learning practitioner. The core objective of this educational event is to pull back the curtain to reveal the truth behind these claims. With a look at the science behind low-level laser therapy, the key differences between Class 3b and Class 4 laser technology, and the "power" argument - how much is necessary for optimal results - we will demonstrate how laser therapy can decrease pain, reduce inflammation, and accelerate the healing process in companion animals. This Seminar will be held in Banff on October 14 at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel from 4 - 5 pm. Register at http://theralase.com/roadshow-banff-seminar/ or contact Marla Samuel at 1.866.843.5273 x306 or msamuel@theralase.com

Have you lost count of how many times you have spoken to the same pet owner about weight management for their pet?
Does it frustrate you that so many of your clients are not compliant when it comes to your recommendations on weight reduction?
Join Dr. German for this innovative and insightful discussion surrounding pet obesity, from the perspective of both owner and pet. Drawing parallels with human obesity, he will provide an evidence-based review of the psychological and behavioural factors known to be associated with obesity in pets, and illustrate how these affect the success of weight management. Using case examples, he will then offer practical tips on how you can tailor your approach and improve outcomes and the quality of life of more pets in your practice!
