VTS (Anesthesia & Analgesia), (Surgery), will be discussing the importance of proper surgical cleaning and processing and how to verify the efficiency of each step in the disinfection/sterilization process. This 90-minute session will focus on the tools and products used to assure cleanliness and sterility, the role of ultrasonic cleaning devices, appropriate use of chemical and steam sterilization, and the importance of following the manufacturer’s instructions for use.
