Cats are "masters of disguise" and have subtle signs of illness. In addition, aging cats have unique concerns, which makes choosing what is best for our senior feline patients a challenge. What diagnostic tools should we routinely use for early disease detection? Once diagnosed, how do we nutritionally and therapeutically manage often co-existing conditions such as CKD, arthritis and cognitive dysfunction? What can we do about the associated muscle wasting that occurs in these domestic carnivores? Join us as we look at these and other issues concerning aging cats.
